Baby BuggyBug!

A wee nickname... Andrew style!

Having one little love has been our greatest accomplishment.
For another baby to bless us in the near future is so hard to put into words.
We feel so much love already!

This time around has been very different for this Mumma...
Getting HUGE quickly!
Feeling movement early!
Eating waaaaaay less Eggo waffles!
Announcement reactions all kinds of different!
Fear and anxiety... a whole bunch less.  PHEWF!

14 weeks new!

 Every single day!

BUT...
No matter how many pickled ANYTHING I eat, I can not scare away the cruelest of headaches.
This time around I have cried and cussed this growing parasite so many times already.
It has given me some of the worst, pounding, all day long, headaches I've ever imagined having.
They are lessening a tad but seem to be happening still a few times each week.

NOT COOL BUGGY BUG!  NOT COOL!

17 LARGE weeks new!

The Wee Bean, the amazing little man that gave me the privileged title MUMMA, is pretty excited to be a big brother.  He is without a doubt processing the news.  We will see when baby shows up if he shares Tankie.  YEAH RIGHT!

Buggy bug should arrive near or around the end of November or early December making our babies 3 years, 2 months ISH apart.  Perfect timing in our world.
I think this time we may keep the gender a surprise.  Why not?!

Thrilled and not feeling so hot.  I'm not gonna lie.
I'm hoping to document my growth as much as I did with Beanie.  Beware, it will not be pretty in a wee short time, but the reward is worth every single ounce I gain.

In the words of our big boy Bean... "wuv you so much buggy bug!"

Banana Crumb Muffins

This recipe is quick, easy, and uses what you will likely have in your cupboard.
My kind of food!

Banana Crumb Muffins

For the muffins:1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1tsp salt
3 bananas, mashed
1/4 cup shredded ripe pear
1/4 cup shredded apple
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten½ tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted

For the topping:
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:Preheat oven to 375°.
Lightly grease 10 muffin cups, or line with muffin papers.
In a large bowl, mix together 1 ½ cups flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, beat together bananas, sugar, egg, cinnamon and melted butter. Stir the banana, apple, pear mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups 3/4 full.

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon. Cut in 1 tablespoon butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle topping over muffins.
Bake in preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.

Thanks to Annie's Eats for bits of this recipe.  I added my own twists but I look to her site for easy and healthy recipes.

Our Father's Day.

Father's Day for us this year was low key and totally memorable...

How could it be anything but with these two?

We hiked.
We dug.
We took in the amazing day.

Happy Father's Day Daddy Darcy.  You are exceptional and so loved!
XOX

And a Happy Father's Day to my Dad who is overseas enjoying a pretty amazing holiday.
Right about now he is likely snoozing but I bet he and Mom enjoyed a pint or two at a pub in Kilarney today?
Love you to bits!  Thank you for all you do as my Dad and Bean's Papa. The world needs more people like you indeed!

Country Language.

One of my best pals lives in the country.
It is HEAVENLY!
The countryside is a wee bit different than the area that I'm from and equally as beautiful.

Today we went for a visit.
Wished we had stayed all day!

If it isn't obvious....
I LOVE THE COUNTRY!

... cue Little House on the Prairie theme...

... le sigh...

We talked about Coyote destruction, worms in the DelphiniumsCatoneasters & Barbed Wire.
Not everyone can speak this language.
Country language is from my heart.

Tita Brenda & Bean

She is such an important part of our household.
Andrew's friend and Nanny, Brenda.
We love her dearly and are grateful everyday for her role within our home.

She takes care of us all and helps keep our processes and craziness around here going.
Even on a moments notice, she never says no to helping us out.

We love you TITA B!
Thank you from all 3 of us for being a part of our every day.

Have a wonderful weekend whatever you get up to.
We are off to Fernie to check out our reno and MOVE IN!!!!

Peace.

Thank you weekend! Hello June!

We had a great (but not long enough) weekend.
We "borrowed" Joey for a few days.  Did a lot of walking in rain, got good and muddy...

Explored new horizons...

Stopped to enjoy the views...

And took in 4H on Parade with the cousins.

Clearly the weekend was kind to us.
Not sure where to start on the thankful list.

It is now June.
Uhhmmmm where did May go?  Good grief!

Happy new week to my followers (still wish it was Friday?!)
