Good bye June!

HELLO JULY!

It is our favorite month of the year.
May we be showered with loads of sunshine and a few less mosquitoes!

Toy box decisions!

Watching Andrew's toy box decision making process is hilarious.  Everyday he picks up something new and it is amazing how fast they learn and perfect each mini skill.  He is now picking out specific items (not baby toys of course) and putting others back in, one at a time.  He is very methodical.... just like Mumma!  His favorites are water bottles and tupperware (see toy box).  Who needs to spend huge dollars on fancy toys?  I suppose that will come soon enough when he discovers dirt bikes and ski season.  EEK!

Bean is touring all over the house now and standing up beside whatever he can get his hands on to support him.  We've had to put away most things on our shelves and the wine rack is mostly empty.  Oh how life has changed.  WE LOVE IT!

Tonite I interrupted Darcy and Andrew getting ready for bathies. It is a firm date every night at our house at 7:00 pm sharp!

Today was Andrew's Christening, so many emotions I don't even know where to start.

We know Nana & Great Grandpa Andrew were watching over all of us!

Happy Father's Day

Parenthood - What a wonderful gift.  What an amazing journey. What a crazy ride.
Thank you for the most amazing teacher and role model, my DAD!  I have so many amazing memories and traditions to continue to keep and create with my Dad.

And of course to Andrew's amazing Dadda!

Patient, kind, funny, and positive.  What more could a kiddo ask for in a Dad!

Watchin the rain....

Cupcakes Galore!

While Andrew has "nappies" I allow myself the time to sit at my computer and do whatever I WANT TO DO for most of the nap.  I get lost in all kinds of blogs.
Today was a tough one as the wee Bean was fussy for 25 mins before finding snoozeville.  Scanning blogs helps me occupy my mind and let him find his own comfy sleep spot, something that is really really hard for me to do and not go in for cuddles.  Does this ever get easier?

Today I found an amazing CUPCAKE site.  Delic!

The innocence that comes with little people's expressions is remarkable.

I wish we could bottle it up and save it for when Andrew turns 18 (or 12 I guess in today's world).

Hello Sunshine!

It was a perfect first weekend home from Fernie.
Yard work, visits with friends, running, and enjoying our back yard.
Life is a delight with sunshine on our faces!
