Tonight during prayers...
"I am thankful for:
Tankie.
My Combine.
Diggers.
My clean bed.
Baby Anna.
My skid steer.
Joey."
I almost cried.
My boy has a heart of gold.
Every night we do Prayers. He always asks to start.
For Andrew and I that means listing all of the things off that we have and love and are grateful for.
He is learning that not everyone has all of the "things" that we do. All of the opportunities that we have. All of the resources we can access.
Slowly.
But he IS learning.
I know he knows, he's a smart little boy.
Tonight, and every night, I am thankful for a zillion things, especially these two!

Thank you weekend! Hello June!
We had a great (but not long enough) weekend.
We "borrowed" Joey for a few days. Did a lot of walking in rain, got good and muddy...
Explored new horizons...
Stopped to enjoy the views...
And took in 4H on Parade with the cousins.
Clearly the weekend was kind to us.
Not sure where to start on the thankful list.
It is now June.
Uhhmmmm where did May go? Good grief!
Happy new week to my followers (still wish it was Friday?!)

My 365 Update!
I've loved doing this project. And by LOVE I may mean WHY THE HELL HAS IT TAKEN ME SO LONG TO TRY THIS?!
It has challenged me in all kinds of ways I want to be.
Look beyond the everyday 'pose'.
Look way past the smile.
Around the corner for the moment.
And past all the noise and action.
I've become so much more aware of all the love around me. That is the greatest gift from this challenge.
It is a huge commitment. It takes a LOT of time. Every moment has come with a lesson.
I can't help but feature my littlest love in most of my images. He is my inspiration and to be totally honest, he is the one that drew me to pick up a camera, other than my iphone camera. Damned kids and their cuteness... costin me money!
Anyone who has ever done a 365 knows the time this endeavor takes. I encourage you to try this.
I hope you enjoy some of my memories...
Project ~365
One photo each day.
An entire year of light, little moments and love through my eyes.

Bad A$$ & Apple Pie!
I'm not much of an adult or toddler fashion poster (mostly because I have very little fashion sense myself and we LOVE and live on hand-me-downs) but I had to post a few cuties.
Fall is in full swing, things are cooling off (some are excited about that, I much prefer flip flops and sunny days) but we are embracing our touques and hoodies.
This is about as bad a$$ as we get these days. Unless you are trying to take away tankie! YIKES!
Speaking of BAD A$$.... Andrew and I worked on our Apple and Pumpkin pie making skills.
Today we baked.
Tomorrow we eat.
Thankful for Thanksgiving Sunday.
We've entered the help Mumma phase.
I love it to say the least.
I hold so many memories of baking with my Mom. I hope to pass along some of the same.
Beanie has a HUGE dislike for dirty hands.
As soon as he discovered he had hands, he wanted them clean.
"wash?" is heard around here a lot! (might get that from his Mumma)
With clean hands he dug in deep.
REALLY DEEP!
With diggers and tupperware (kinda happy only family will enjoy these goodies).
May not pass cleaning codes to some folks.
Shortly after this photo the bowl was tipped over and all flour was on the island.
OHHHHH GOODIE!
We managed to save most of it and carried on with our pie adventures.
No sense crying over spilt pie dough???
(I had the floor lined with pillows Mom just in case he stepped off the chair).
A is for apple pie!
A is for AWESOME!
A is for ANDREW!! xox
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving everyone!
We are so grateful for our blessings.
Food, family, fun.
