Running Mom

I ran a little race while visiting PHX.
I had my babies and my amazing MOM by my side.
She kept us in line and made me sane.
 
It was a huge race, SO MANY PPL!!  Not usually my style but I'll be doing it again indeed.
It was also the first of many races for me this year.  I took this one slow and low and loved that.
I took walk breaks, photos, and high fived as many kiddos along the way as I could.
This year I'm taking my running back and not feeling too guilty about it.

After all... happy WIFE, happy LIFE!

Team Roping USA!

This post is for my DAD!

The Team Roper.

I love that he has a passion that is his and only his… 

and that he has the health, the time and the means to make it happen in reasonable temperatures for half the year.

I'm so proud of him.

 

Bean and I spent some time at the Mike Cervi Memorial Roping with Papa.

A week long event, with amazing and talented ropers of all ages and sizes from near and far.

Professionals and Amateurs.

Women AND Men.

Of course the John Deeres under the bleachers may have had his closest attention…

Or the John Deere flattening the arena between sessions!

Making memories I tell ya.  Making memories!

Birthday girl!

My Mom turned 64 + 365 days yesterday.
My Dad arranged a wee surprise for her, we just happened to get in on it last minute.
He invited a few of her friends for an after dinner visit.
Their house was FULL!  As in busting at the seems full!

Good people attract good people.
My Mom is the kindest and strongest woman I know.
EVER EVER EVER!
