I promise you, if you take a few minutes to watch this YouTube video you'll get a chuckle.
It plays over and over and over

at our place right now.
It is hard to walk away and not press REPEAT, I'll even admit that.

Farm kid life is one of life's amazing gifts.
While I grew up on a cattle and grain farm, rather than a dairy operation, I can relate to pretty much all of this video.
Right down to the rubber boots that are 3 sizes too big.
Have a watch.

Simple. Fresh air. Farm. PHENOMENAL!

a few words that come to mind...

Add in Tim Horton's, a few amazing power naps and a huge peach pie (thanks Grama) and I'd safely upgrade the ratings to BLISS!

Animal communication is funny.  One wants to be friendly, the other wants to herd and be bossy.

Kinda like Mom's at a city park I guess? Just sayin...

Sunset Series...

It was a rare warm spring evening last week at Grampa & Grama's.

Full on summer feeling.

The mini took advantage of it and said good night on the front porch. Mother Nature stretched her arms, shut her eyes and we watched her fall asleep peacefully.

It was the kind of sunset you'd pay money to see.

Bedtime followed slowly after for the wee Bean.  Rocking to sleep in my arms listening to the crickets.

Spring in Alberta.  Just never know what you'll get!

Night night.
Sleep tight.
Don't let the bed bugs bite!
