Fresh.New.Lovely.

Before leaving for vacation I did 6 photo shoots in 6 days.
Exhausted and Grateful.

I'm working on catching up and looking at our friend's perfect new man WILLIAM.
He makes me feel happy I have the opportunities to take photos as much or as little as I want.
Doesn't he leave you with a sigh...

Baby William...

When Besties have babies it is a wonderful sight.
This Mamma has a special place in my world.  We've "been there and done that" so to see her hold her precious bundle is nothing short of magic!
WILLIAM JOSEPH TERRANCE is one very lucky wee man.
His Mom and Dad are amazing folks.
Lil buddy has an amazing life ahead!
Love him...

We tried for traditional sleepy baby pictures but Will was far too interested in hanging out and visiting.
There will be plenty of time for snoozing later on.

I am thankful to be able to spend time with special people and capture little baby toes!

Teeny. Tiny. Twinsies.

Almost a month ago I had the opportunity to photograph TWINSIES.
Sarah & Henry.
Newborn photography is a challenge.  I can't lie.
And twins bring it up at least a notch or two.
It's tough!

I am so grateful to have met this family.
Alyson delivered these itty bitty babies at 33 weeks!  6 weeks later I met them at 5 lbs each.  It was surreal. TINY doesn't quite give you a clear visual.
If you have small children you are well aware of the chaos, blessed chaos of course, that comes with them.
This family is organized, calm, and has it together!  Wow, I was so impressed.
I give so much credit to the families with twins.  It is another dimension.

I look forward to the chance to document these littles down the road...
Still so much to learn about documenting special littles and families.
Photography school starts again tomorrow.  EEK!

SARAH
HENRY
Aren't they dreamy.

This furry fella seems very calm and cool with the new kids in town!
Such a beautiful dog.

I have taken so many lessons away from these sessions I've been blessed with.
Thank you so much for helping my learning journey.
I am truly grateful.  The more I learn, the more I want to learn.

QUINN!

One of my favorite people had her second little love.
Baby girl QUINN.
She is tiny.
Quiet.
Already smiles.
and is the most alert newborn I've ever held.
She is already so loved...

Quinn McKenzie Fritzler!

Newborn photography is by far the biggest challenge I've faced so far.
It is hands down just plain hard.
Love to hold those minis but as a Mumma myself I know the value of a peaceful sleep.  My guilt sensor was on overload.
Thank you Lindy for inviting me into your home twice to learn from your baby girl.
I have so many close friends welcoming new babies into this world in the next few months.  So many blessings ahead.
I'm hoping to snuggle them and perhaps capture a few memories.
The time spent with Quinn provided me with so much learning, not to mention, little baby luv.
I'm so grateful.
One of my favorite photographers and friend is getting set to have their first baby.
I'm so excited to learn from her and their new baby boy when he arrives.
Please check out her site here, she did newborn photos of our Bean when she was just learning.  Love her....
