2017. Triathlete.

The Triathlon community was such a huge part of my life.  I miss those days deeeeeeeply.

I embrace it now through my tiny Triathlete!

Could not be more proud of our fella.

His happy nature, willingness to get out there and DO IT, and skillz... this kid has SKILLZ!

3rd year participating in the Fernie Triathlon for kiddos.  What an awesome adventure!

This event is put together by volunteers and donations, all of it.

They do a wonderful job keeping the kids smiling, giggling, learning and SAFE!

Such a great way to support the kids, community, and learn together the value of physical activity rules and self confidence.

So much of it is about FRIENDSHIP!

We've been back to back to back days for the best ice cream we know.

We love the triathlon community. It is very dear to my heart.
SWIM. BIKE. RUN. REPEAT!

I have spent endless hours doing and loving all three.
Now our Andrew is embracing the triathlon world in his own awesome way.  We have a blast watching him meet new kids, learn new rules, and breath in the fresh air.

The Fernie Tri is such a positive and well organized event.  Kids of all ages and levels join in and it is a gas watching them all do their thing.

He finishes healthy and smiling and waving his hands in the air.  It was straight out of a movie.

We are so proud of our Wee Bean.  He competes like  a total champ and smiles huge the entire way!
WAY TO GO ANDREW!  You are a Triathlete once again.

(If he is anything like his Mom he enjoys the snacks at the end too.)

She skis!

Today our wee Miss was on skis for the very first time.
She had a blast!
Again! Again! Again! She said it over and over.
Phewf.  She likes it… we hope.

We don't push our kiddos to like what we do but we sure are pleased with her first day on skis.

On being a MOM.

Hardest job ever.
Most rewarding job ever.
I'm often torn between guilt and bliss and my own Mom tells me that is just part of this gig… enjoy the journey.

I love being a Mom.  I always knew I'd be rewarded with this title.  I just didn't know it would be such a ride…. such an exhausting and bumpy and BEST DAMN DAYS EVER ride!

Happy Mother's Day to the Moms, Gramas, Moms to be, Adopted Moms, birth Moms, Aunties and anyone who has a role in raising little and big people.
