Welcoming FALL!

Uhmmmmm, when did the 10 year old show up?!
STOP GROWING UP WOULD YA!
GEESH!
We are embracing Fall (I'm still refusing to put my flip flops away), sampling Halloween candies (because we can) and dog sitting our favorite pup Joey (we secretly may not be giving him back!).
Oh yeah, and preparing for the wee baby Buggy Bug that is about to show up in a few weeks (no idea the gender).

LIFE IS GOOD and not lacking any excitement!!!

A hug.

This week asked for a few more hugs.
A few more moments of reflection.
and a bunch less time wasted on the negative, the news, and the evil.

This post is for those that need extra hugs and care these coming weeks.

BLISS!

Clearly we hit the MOTHER LOAD in the happy department this weekend!
Simple. Fresh air. Farm. PHENOMENAL!
a few words that come to mind...
Add in Tim Horton's, a few amazing power naps and a huge peach pie (thanks Grama) and I'd safely upgrade the ratings to BLISS!

Trouble maker Joey...
Animal communication is funny.  One wants to be friendly, the other wants to herd and be bossy.
Kinda like Mom's at a city park I guess? Just sayin...

Stay with people.... I have a few more photos to show you!
And I'm sure the theme is obvious!

These photos mean a lot to me as they are all taken in the area that my mom was born, raised, and her family farmed!

Andrew and Joey!

It never gets boring watching children share with each other.
But to watch a small child share with a dog his same size is a pretty big heart melter.
These two show no boundaries towards each other.
If only the entire world followed along.

Sharing snacks and a kiss.
Pretty important life skills if you ask me!

Joey series...

Dogs see all and forgive all.
They are a wonderful gift.
Joey was a stray and is a package of all kinds of perfect love wrapped in fur.
Andrew and Joey continue to speak their own language to each other.  Forever BFFs.
Watching them grow and love each other brings me so much joy.

(last few are a wee bit fuzzy)
