Life is just generally more pleasant with SUNSHINE!
In my opinion anyway…

It appears that my family agrees with me?!

Yesterday...

Started like this in our city...

As pretty as this might be in December, Calgary missed the memo that it is APRIL!!
And we are slightly 'over it' with winter.

So me and the wee got the hell outta dodge!
AMEN!

Today our only goal is to find a crocus.
JUST ONE!
and if we do, I may take a photo!  Just maybe?

Spring. Day one.

We aren't being fooled.
We are just enjoying.
Forecast is calling for snow tomorrow.
Mumma Nature is having a few hormones these days.  Not the good kind either.

In the mean time we soak it up and eat popsicles in tshirts.
You only live once!

We have a HUGE fever here for the word that rhymes with FLING (as my wise friend would say over at amillionlittleloves).  It is encouraged not to say the S word that rhymes with FLING (please read her post, it's hilarious!)

Dear Spring:
Please stop by, we will be good to you.  HONEST!

This past week was full of sunshine all day, and after dinner puddle jumping.

A random neighborhood cat has taken a huge liking to us.

He arrives shortly before dinner and won't doesn't head "home" until well after bedtime.

We call him Katty Kat.  Bean thinks he is human.  They have races and conversations.

It's pretty darned cute.

Even for a not-so-cat-loving family.

Do we need a critter in this house?

10 on 10. SPRING? Are you out there...

Once a  month I will be joining a group of Mothers and Photographers and posting ~10 photos.... of the ordinary and not so ordinary moments of our days.

We exchange and encourage each other through an online group and these ladies have really been supportive and pushed me a wee bit to think beyond.

As for me.  My 10 on 10 post involves our simple and wonderful life... that comes with our own set of daily challenges not always captured through my lens...

We spend most of our weekends in a small ski town... FERNIE, BC.

These past few weekends have given us Spring previews.

Puddles and mud.

Skiing and hot chocolates.

Rain and green.

Snowflakes and chillies.

We can't decide what season it is but we are hoping for SPRING!!
